a tragic story from @marinacityband - they paid to play at SXSW and their manager canceled their gigs & scheisted them out of the money AND the gig after they drove 24 hours straight from chicago, skipping out of high school. we found them via the drummer Eric’s dad, who emailed Neil yesterday, asking if had ANY connections to someone who could get them a gig. the answer is yes.
